What is Flat Green Bowling?

How would we describe flat green bowls?

 

• A sport that focuses on skill, concentration and tatics instead of high levels of physical athletisism.

 

• Whether solo or in teams, there's a game waiting for you; both at the social level or in competition.

 

• Not just an "older persons game", many junior players represent their countries internationally. It is a game for all ages.

 

• Indoors or outdoors, theres a game to be had. With variations for all seasons and weathers.

What do we have to offer?

Stoke Bowling Club (Coventry) can offer you:

 

• A full outdoor season with social, club and county games almost every week and weekend.

 

• Two bowling greens to choose from for your practice or social games, maintained by our hardworking volunteer maintanence team.

 

• A Clubhouse with history on every wall, a well stocked bar run by our friendly bar staff complete with two snooker tables and a darts board. Available to members for socialising, long after the bowls game ends.

 

• Club nights

  • Outdoor season (April - September): A friendly 'roll up' followed by bingo and socialising.

  • Indoor season (September - April): Bingo, socialising and a chance to catch up with friends.

 

• Event nights: Various events throughout the year such as; Race nights, Pub quizes, Gala's, Presentation nights, Fayres and much more!

 

• Function room available for all your hire needs; parties, exhibitions, lectures, craft markets... we will do our best to accomadate you.
